Media personality Daddy Freeze has responded strongly to reality TV star Cross Da Boss following their recent social media clash over comments about Nigerian pastors and miracles.
The disagreement began after Cross criticised Daddy Freeze for questioning religious leaders who attended the service of songs held in honour of late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo. Cross had urged the broadcaster to stop speaking negatively about Christianity and church leaders.
However, Daddy Freeze has now escalated the matter by throwing down a public challenge. The broadcaster questioned claims of miraculous healing often associated with some pastors, arguing that such powers should be demonstrated if they truly exist.
Referencing the death of Alexx Ekubo and discussions surrounding faith healing, Daddy Freeze challenged Cross to produce a Nigerian pastor capable of healing a medically verified cripple in the same manner described in the Bible.
In his words:
“My Response To Cross. If Ur Miraculous Pastors Or Their God Can Heal Only 1 Of The 50 Verified Cripple I Will Provide, I’ll give N50 million to you, Or To A Charity Of Your Choice. If You Can’t, Then You Should Shut Up!”
The statement has sparked widespread reactions online, with supporters and critics of both personalities debating the issue of faith, miracles and the role of religious leaders in modern society.
As of the time of filing this report, Cross Da Boss has not publicly responded to Daddy Freeze’s latest challenge.
