Reality TV personality Ikechukwu Sunday Cross Okonkwo, popularly known as Cross Da Boss, has publicly criticised media personality Daddy Freeze over his remarks regarding the service of songs organised in honour of late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo.
The controversy began after Daddy Freeze shared his opinion about the memorial event and the gospel ministers who performed during the programme. The broadcaster disclosed that he left the gathering during the worship session, stating that he had reservations about certain aspects of the event.
Reacting to the comments, Cross defended the Christian faith and the clergy, urging Daddy Freeze to refrain from speaking on matters he does not fully understand.
Taking to social media, Cross wrote:
“Daddy Freeze, with due respect, sometimes keep your mouth shut . If you don’t know anything about our father, Jesus Christ, don’t talk. And leave men and women of God out of your mouth.”
His response has since sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians weighing in on the exchange between the reality star and the outspoken broadcaster.
The development adds another chapter to Daddy Freeze’s long-running criticism of certain religious practices and church leaders, a stance that has often generated debate across social media.
