Afrobeats star Peruzzi has revealed that he has changed his mind about having a large family, saying he now wants just two children instead of the 12 he once planned.
The singer made the revelation after revisiting an old post on X (formerly Twitter) in which he had expressed his desire to father a dozen children.
Reacting to the six-year-old post, Peruzzi wrote in Pidgin:
“Omo, 2 children dey enough. Things don change.”
His comment quickly went viral, with many fans joking that Nigeria’s rising cost of living may have influenced his new decision.
Others playfully suggested that his earlier ambition to have 12 children may have been inspired by his passion for football.
Although Peruzzi did not explain the exact reason behind his change of heart, he simply noted that “things have changed,” leaving fans to speculate about what prompted the decision.
His remarks come as many Nigerians continue to adjust to rising living costs and economic challenges, making family planning a frequent topic of discussion on social media.
