Social media personality Ojaigho Prosper, popularly known as GehGeh, has sparked reactions online after criticizing TikTok star Peller over his decision to officially begin marriage proceedings with his partner, Jarvis.
The criticism came shortly after Peller announced that he had paid Jarvis’ bride price during a family introduction ceremony, describing it as the beginning of a new chapter in their relationship.
While many fans celebrated the development, GehGeh expressed concerns about whether the young content creator is truly prepared for the responsibilities that come with marriage.
According to him, financial success should not be the only factor considered before taking such a major step.
“Y’all are justifying his act with ‘he has the money allow him’. But y’all failed to ask yourself if he’s ready mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Everything isn’t all about the money.”
GehGeh also revealed that he had previously advised Peller against rushing into marriage but claimed the TikTok star ignored his counsel.
“You still growing as a child why get married now eehn.. I tried my possible best to help you but you failed to listen to me.. Peller don go marry Jarvis.. upon all my advice this boy still pour spit for my face.”
The social media commentator further argued that supporters praising Peller because of his financial stability should ask themselves if they would encourage a younger sibling or relative to get married at a similar age.

His remarks have since generated mixed reactions online, with some agreeing that marriage requires emotional maturity and readiness, while others insist that age should not be a barrier if both partners are committed.
The latest debate comes weeks after Peller proposed to Jarvis at a beachfront hotel in Accra, Ghana, a moment that quickly went viral across social media.
Despite the criticism, fans continue to celebrate the couple’s relationship as they move closer to officially tying the knot.
