Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that he has more than 400 unreleased songs in his music catalogue.
The singer made the disclosure during a recent episode of the Uncut Podcast, explaining that throughout his career, he has recorded hundreds of songs that have never been released or heard by his fans.
“Songs that you people haven’t heard? It is up to 400,” Davido said.
He also revealed that some songs on his recently released album Oriade were originally recorded for his fourth studio album, Timeless, released in 2023.
“I recorded ‘Constantly’ for ‘Timeless’,” he added.
Davido rose to prominence in 2012 following the release of “Dami Duro,” the second single from his debut album Omo Baba Olowo.
Since then, he has become one of Africa’s biggest music stars and is widely regarded as one of the Afrobeats “Big Three.”
The singer has released several studio albums, including A Good Time (2019), A Better Time (2020), Timeless (2023) and 5ive (2025), while his recently released Oriade is his latest project.
Davido also founded DMW (Davido Music Worldwide) in 2016, further establishing his influence in the Nigerian music industry.
