Nigerian music superstar Burna Boy is set to make history once again after announcing plans to headline London Stadium for a third time in 2027, further cementing his status as one of Africa’s biggest global music stars.
The Grammy-winning Afro-fusion singer confirmed the highly anticipated concert on his social media platforms after first teasing fans with a custom-made diamond necklace celebrating his previous sold-out performances at the iconic venue
With the announcement, Burna Boy is on course to become the first African artist to headline the 80,000-capacity London Stadium three times.
The music sensation first achieved the remarkable feat in June 2023 during his Love, Damini Tour, before returning to another sold-out crowd in June 2024 as part of his I Told Them Tour.
His ability to consistently fill one of Europe’s biggest concert venues has further strengthened his reputation as one of the continent’s most successful international performers.
The latest announcement comes shortly after Burna Boy delivered a standout performance at the inaugural FIFA World Cup final halftime show, another milestone that highlights his growing influence on the global music scene.
