Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has responded to growing social media pressure surrounding allegations made by Emmanuel Obasi, the former husband of his wife, Judy Austin.
The actor made it clear that he has never stopped anyone from seeing their children and should not be dragged into issues that do not directly involve him.
In a post shared online, Edochie stated that any discussion about the children should be between Obasi and Judy Austin, stressing that he has no authority over such matters.
“I have never stopped anybody from seeing his children,” Edochie wrote.
The actor also expressed frustration over what he described as attempts by some individuals to use his name for attention and social media engagement.
His comments come after Emmanuel Obasi sparked reactions online during a podcast interview where he spoke about his past marriage to Judy Austin and made several claims regarding her relationship with Edochie.
Obasi alleged that Judy admired Edochie long before their marriage ended and claimed he had evidence to support his assertions.
He also displayed old family photographs during the interview, further fueling public discussion around the issue.
However, Judy Austin has consistently denied allegations that she was romantically involved with Edochie while still married to Obasi.
According to her, her marriage to Obasi ended years before she began a relationship with the Nollywood actor.
The controversy has continued to attract widespread attention online, with fans and social media users sharing differing opinions on the matter.
