Popular social media personality and self-styled financial adviser, GehGeh, has claimed that many women who criticize him on social media behave differently whenever they meet him in person.
In a recent interview, the content creator said his journey to fame started from sharing financial lessons and personal experiences, not from seeking popularity online. According to him, one of his earliest viral videos gained massive attention after it was reposted by music executive Don Jazzy.
Speaking on the criticism he often receives over his views on relationships and masculinity, GehGeh denied being misogynistic. He argued that some women dislike his advice because they believe it could influence men to become more cautious with money in relationships.
The controversial influencer further claimed that despite the backlash online, women show him more love in real life than men do.
“Women criticize me online, but when they see me physically, they approach me more than men,” he said.
GehGeh also defended his relationship advice, insisting that many men’s financial struggles stem from investing in the wrong relationships. On his personal life, he confirmed having multiple relationships and noted that his cultural background permits polygamy.
Addressing recent criticism from his sister, who accused him of not supporting her financially, GehGeh revealed that he recently sent her ₦5 million, adding that he believes in self-reliance for both family members and friends.
He also weighed in on the engagement of content creators Peller and Jarvis, expressing doubts about the long-term sustainability of relationships built heavily around public attention and social media visibility.
