The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates scheduled to participate in the 2026 Mop-Up UTME can now print their examination notification slips ahead of the exercise.
The Board disclosed that the portal is now open for eligible candidates to access their examination details before the mop-up examination slated for June 13, 2026.
In a statement issued by JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, candidates were advised to print their slips early to avoid last-minute challenges and ensure they are fully prepared for the examination.
According to JAMB, the notification slip contains vital information, including the candidate’s examination centre, date, time, and other important instructions required for a smooth examination process.
The Board explained that the mop-up examination is specifically for candidates who were unable to participate in the main UTME due to technical issues or those whose biometric verification could not be completed during the earlier exercise.
“Candidates are advised to visit the Board’s website and print their 2026 Mop-Up UTME notification slips as soon as possible,” the statement noted.
JAMB also urged candidates to locate and visit their examination centres before the examination date to familiarise themselves with the environment and avoid unnecessary delays on the day of the test.
The Board stressed that the mop-up exercise represents the final opportunity for eligible candidates to sit for the 2026 UTME.
“This mop-up examination is the final opportunity for eligible candidates. No further examination will be conducted after this exercise,” JAMB stated.
Candidates were therefore encouraged to prepare adequately and make the most of the opportunity.
