Bayern Munich honorary president Uli Hoeneß has firmly dismissed rumours linking French winger Michael Olise with a move away from the club after José Mourinho was spotted at the DFB-Pokal final in Berlin.
Mourinho’s appearance at the match quickly sparked speculation that the veteran manager was keeping close tabs on the talented Bayern star, who has impressed many since joining the German champions.
Olise’s strong performances this season have reportedly attracted interest from several top European clubs, but Bayern appear determined to keep hold of the young winger.
Reacting to the rumours, Hoeneß made Bayern’s position crystal clear with a blunt response.
“Mourinho can keep five eyes on Olise — he won’t get him,” Hoeneß said, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The statement highlights Bayern Munich’s determination to protect their key young players as the club continues building for long-term success in Europe.
Internally, Olise is reportedly seen as an important part of Bayern’s future attacking project and not a player the club is willing to sell anytime soon.
The latest comments come shortly after Bayern sporting director Max Eberl also dismissed transfer speculation surrounding the French winger.
