Iran Cuts Communication with U.S. After Trump’s Escalating Threats
Tensions between Iran and the United States have taken a sharp turn, as Tehran reportedly suspends all direct and indirect communication channels following recent developments linked to Donald Trump.
The decision comes shortly after Trump issued a strongly worded statement on Truth Social, warning of serious consequences and hinting at the possibility of “complete regime change” in Iran. His remarks followed emerging reports of a strike near Kharg Island, a major oil export terminal in the Persian Gulf.
According to Mehr News Agency, multiple explosions were heard on the island, with claims pointing to an “American-Zionist” operation. Despite the intensity of the incident, early reports suggest that key oil refinery facilities were not directly damaged.
The situation intensified further as the developments unfolded just hours before a deadline reportedly set by Trump, demanding Iran reopen the vital Strait of Hormuz, a crucial route for global oil transportation.
Iran’s move to cut off communication signals a deepening standoff, raising concerns over the possibility of further escalation while dimming hopes for immediate diplomatic resolution.
