Nigerian TikTok personalities Peller and Jarvis are set to become parents for the first time after announcing that they are expecting a baby together.
The couple shared the exciting news on Instagram on Thursday, posting a series of photographs that showed Jarvis proudly displaying her baby bump alongside Peller.
In the pictures, the couple wore matching white outfits as they posed together against the backdrop of the ocean on a beach.
Alongside the pregnancy announcement, the couple reflected on their relationship journey, describing it as one filled with laughter, tears, prayers and personal growth.
They said God had continued to guide their story through each stage of their relationship.
Jarvis wrote:
“From two people who once had no idea where this journey would take us… to husband and wife, and now soon to be parents.
“A little piece of our love is coming into this world. Our greatest blessing. Our answered prayer.”
Couple Previously Faced Pregnancy Speculation
The announcement comes months after the couple got married in a civil ceremony in Lagos on July 29.
Following their wedding, Jarvis became the subject of pregnancy speculation on social media, with some fans pointing to changes in her appearance as evidence that she was expecting.
The couple, however, dismissed the claims at the time.
They explained that Jarvis’ noticeable weight gain was linked to eating late at night rather than pregnancy.
With their latest announcement, the couple has now confirmed that they are indeed expecting their first child.
The news has since attracted congratulatory messages from fans and followers celebrating the couple as they begin a new chapter as husband and wife and soon-to-be parents.
