UK-based Nigerian pastor and SPAC Nation leader, Tobi Adegboyega, has revealed that he spends no less than £300,000 daily on bills and other financial obligations.
Adegboyega made the disclosure during a livestream with streamer Davrel, who asked the pastor about his approximate daily and monthly expenses.
According to him, his daily spending includes food and financial support for African countries.
“To be honest, nothing less than £300,000. We spend £14,000 daily on food, and I have an obligation to give African countries £5,000 every day.”
His remarks have drawn attention to the scale of his reported financial commitments and his lifestyle.
Adegboyega Defends SPAC Nation
The pastor also addressed criticism surrounding SPAC Nation and allegations from some individuals who have described the organisation as a cult.
Adegboyega attributed the criticism to what he described as the unusual unity and financial success of young members of the church.
“People will say we are a cult because we are so unified.”
He argued that unlike situations where church leaders are wealthy while members struggle financially, some young people within SPAC Nation are also able to afford expensive lifestyles.
“If you see all my young men, they also drive the kind of cars I drive.”
Adegboyega said he no longer becomes angry when people describe the organisation as a cult, adding that he chooses to forgive those who make such claims.
“I forgive people who call us a cult and all that because they are confused. So I don’t get angry anymore. I am grateful.”
The pastor has remained a prominent figure within the Nigerian and wider African community in the UK, particularly through his work with young people.
His latest comments have renewed discussions around his lifestyle, financial obligations, wealth distribution within religious organisations and the financial expectations associated with church leadership.
