Danielle Edochie, the first daughter of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie and his estranged wife, May Edochie, has made it clear that she would never date anyone involved in internet fraud, popularly known as Yahoo.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, Danielle condemned what she described as the growing trend of glorifying fraudsters, insisting that criminal activities should never be normalised or celebrated in relationships.
“I don’t know about the rest of you, but I have been seeing this trend normalising stealing and fraud. I will never romanticise the idea of being with someone as a partner who steals from people online or even physically,” she said.
The social media personality questioned why anyone would choose to build a relationship with someone whose wealth comes from defrauding innocent people.
According to her, no amount of luxury or financial success can justify making a living from other people’s hard-earned money.
“Anytime I hear, ‘Oh, you’re not into fraud?’ I’m like, I don’t understand. So I will risk my own existence to be with somebody who steals money from people? Your whole life is based on somebody else’s hard work or somebody else’s money,” she said.

Danielle admitted that many people are attracted to the lavish lifestyle often associated with fraudsters, but stressed that wealth obtained illegally is not worth admiring.
She ended her message with a strong warning to anyone involved in internet fraud.
“A lot of people are probably consumed by the thousands and millions of naira these people are making from sources that are not theirs. But if you do fraud, stay the hell away from me.”
Danielle, who has built a strong social media presence with more than 300,000 Instagram followers, regularly shares lifestyle content and speaks on issues relating to relationships, personal values and social matters.
