The Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has reminded Christians that lasting peace does not come from governments or worldly systems but from God alone.
The respected cleric made the statement on Sunday while ministering at the dedication of Dreamland, Master’s City, the newly completed worship centre of Master’s Place International Church in Warri, Delta State.
Speaking on the topic, “Why Do We Dedicate Places of Worship?”, Oyedepo explained that church buildings are dedicated because they belong to God, who is both the owner and builder of His Church.
“God is the owner and builder of His Church. Behind every sanctuary is God, so we are dedicating it to the Owner, because God builds all things. The glory of God will fill His house, and this sanctuary shall be His habitation and house of salvation,” he said.
Addressing the congregation, the renowned preacher encouraged believers not to depend solely on governments or material things for peace, stressing that genuine peace can only come from God.
“No government in this world can give you peace, neither can you find it in the market. It is only God that can give you peace,” Oyedepo declared.
The dedication service also featured the reordination of the Senior Pastor of Master’s Place International Church, Pastor Korede Komaiya, and his wife, Pastor Esther Komaiya, as part of what was described as a special impartation for a new phase of their ministry.
Congratulating the couple and the church on the completion of the worship complex, Oyedepo prayed for greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
“Congratulations. The best is yet to come. Receive fresh grace today to remain faithful and consistent with God,” he prayed.
He also extended his congratulations to members of the church, expressing confidence that greater testimonies await the ministry.
During the reordination, Oyedepo laid hands on Pastor Korede and Pastor Esther Komaiya, offering prayers and prophetic blessings over their lives and ministry.
The event coincided with the International Founders Conference 2026 and attracted thousands of worshippers, alongside several prominent Christian leaders from across Nigeria and beyond.
Among those present were Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, Pastor Poju Oyemade, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, Rev. Tony Akinyemi, Rev. Samuel Olubiyo, and Pastor Yemi Davids.
Speaking at the ceremony, Pastor Korede Komaiya expressed gratitude to God for the successful completion of the worship centre and appreciated the support and mentorship of senior ministers.
“We are grateful to God for the gift of men and for the lives that continue to impact generations through their ministries. To God alone be all the glory,” he said.
