Nigerian music star Mr Eazi and his wife, actress Temi Otedola, have opened up about the extensive preparations they made ahead of welcoming their first child.
The celebrity couple revealed that they consulted nine different doctors across several countries while planning for the birth of their baby.
Speaking during a recent episode of their podcast, the pair explained that the multiple consultations were necessary because they had not decided where they wanted their child to be born.
“We didn’t know which country we were going to decide on,” Mr Eazi explained.
The singer disclosed that he was particularly interested in having their baby in Japan and had even begun searching for possible Japanese names.
However, Temi quickly shut down the idea, jokingly making it clear that she was not in favour of giving their child a Japanese name.
The couple’s pregnancy journey has attracted attention since they announced in May that they were expecting their first child.
According to them, they discovered the pregnancy while enjoying their honeymoon in Asia after their private wedding ceremony in Iceland in 2025.
Their latest revelation has given fans a glimpse into the careful planning and decision-making that went into preparing for parenthood.
