Popular Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has revealed one thing she will never do in a relationship — discuss her earnings with a man.
The actress made the disclosure during an appearance on the “Thanks For Coming” podcast, where she spoke candidly about finances, privacy and personal boundaries in relationships.
According to Isime, money remains a private matter for her, and she sees no reason to reveal how much she earns to a partner.
“I never discuss three things: my money, my money, my money. Tell a man how much I earn? Never. For what?”
The actress also made it clear that the rule applies both ways, saying she has no interest in knowing how much her partner earns either.
“I don’t want him to discuss his with me either. I don’t want to know how much he is earning.”
Speaking further, Isime shared her views on trust in relationships, revealing that she has no issue with her partner accessing her phone but would never ask to check his.
The actress explained that she believes healthy relationships should be built on trust rather than constant monitoring.
Nancy’s comments have sparked conversations online, with many Nigerians debating whether couples should be open about their finances and personal devices.
The actress has previously spoken about her unconventional views on marriage, revealing that while growing up, she was more focused on building a successful career and achieving financial independence than dreaming about weddings.
