The prestigious event is scheduled to hold on June 6, 2026, at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos, with guests expected from countries including Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Algeria and Egypt.
According to the organisers, the award ceremony will bring together some of Africa’s most influential figures whose contributions continue to shape growth and development across different sectors on the continent.
The organisers explained that this year’s edition will recognise outstanding achievements in entrepreneurship, technology, academia, philanthropy, governance, innovation and transformational leadership.

As part of the event, special recognition will also be given to Nigeria’s national football team and the Nigeria Olympic football team for their historic achievements and contributions to African football.
According to the organisers, the honour is meant to acknowledge the lasting influence of both teams, whose successes inspired millions across Africa and elevated Nigerian football on the international stage.
