Party Screens Out Aspirants From Ondo, Rivers, Bauchi, Ebonyi And Kogi States
The All Progressives Congress has released the names of House of Representatives aspirants disqualified from participating in the party’s primaries ahead of the 2027 National Assembly elections.
The affected aspirants were drawn from several states, including Ondo, Bauchi, Ebonyi, Kogi and Rivers, following the conclusion of the party’s screening exercise conducted for those seeking the APC ticket across different federal constituencies.
The list was made public on Saturday through an official statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Felix Morka.
According to the APC, the screening committees carefully examined all aspirants using the party’s approved rules, procedures and eligibility guidelines before arriving at the final decision on those cleared and those disqualified from the primaries.
The party explained that the exercise was conducted in line with its internal processes aimed at ensuring only qualified aspirants participate in the forthcoming elections.

The APC has yet to publicly disclose the specific reasons behind the disqualification of the affected aspirants. However, party officials maintained that the screening process was strictly guided by established procedures and party regulations ahead of the primaries.
