Popular Nollywood actor Stan Nze has opened up about the secret behind the content he creates with his wife, revealing that they have deliberately chosen authenticity over chasing social media trends.
The award-winning actor explained that from the very beginning of their marriage, their goal was never to impress people or become role models online. Instead, they simply wanted to share real moments from their relationship and document their journey together.
According to him, the couple focused on telling their story as honestly as possible without trying to fit into popular online narratives or viral challenges.
Stan said they were surprised by the overwhelming support their content received, noting that many people connected deeply with their genuine approach to marriage and family life.
“When we got married, we just wanted to share our real experiences. We were not trying to set standards or encourage anyone. We simply wanted to tell our story, and people connected with it,” he said.
The actor added that the positive feedback from fans has motivated them to remain consistent and continue creating content that reflects their true lives rather than following trends for attention.
Beyond social media, Stan also spoke about his passion for filmmaking and storytelling.
He revealed that his latest movie project, “When Moremi Falls,” was specially created with veteran actress Bimbo Akintola in mind.
According to him, he had always dreamed of working with the respected actress and developed the story around her strengths and personality.
Stan stressed that audiences today are looking for stories they can relate to, insisting that emotional authenticity matters more than predictable plots.
He noted that Nigerians are open to different types of stories as long as they feel real and believable.
The actor also challenged filmmakers to be more creative and stop relying on repetitive storylines that have become common in the industry.
While many producers continue to focus heavily on romance-themed projects, Stan believes the industry needs more originality and bold storytelling that pushes creative boundaries.
His comments have sparked conversations among fans and creatives, with many praising his commitment to authenticity both in his personal life and professional career.
