Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a fresh warning to Iran, declaring that Israel will respond with even greater force if Tehran launches another attack.
Speaking on Tuesday at a conference in Dimona, a town known for hosting Israel’s nuclear research facility, Netanyahu said the era of Israel absorbing attacks without a strong response was over.
“Do not count on things remaining quiet if you attack us. The days are over when someone strikes us and we don’t hit back with a decisive blow,” he said.
The Israeli leader warned that any future military response would be stronger than the joint strikes carried out earlier this year by Israel and the United States.
According to Netanyahu, Iran should not expect a repeat of previous operations, insisting that Israel’s next response would be far more powerful.
“Do not count on a rerun because it will not be a rerun. This will be a different event, much more powerful,” he added.
His remarks come amid renewed tensions in the Middle East following fresh US airstrikes on Iran and President Donald Trump’s pledge to restore a blockade on Iranian ports.
Reports also indicate that US strikes targeted Bushehr, home to Iran’s only civilian nuclear power plant.
In response to the recent military action, Iran has reportedly launched missiles targeting US allies in the region, raising fears of a wider regional conflict.
The latest exchange of threats has heightened concerns over further escalation, with global attention focused on developments in the Middle East.
