The group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup has ended, with 16 countries crashing out of the tournament after failing to qualify for the Round of 32.

Africa enjoyed an impressive campaign, with nine of its ten representatives advancing to the knockout stage. Tunisia was the continent’s only team eliminated after finishing bottom of Group F without a point.
