Former Minister of Information, Prof. Jerry Gana, on Saturday received the PDP Certificate of Return on behalf of former President Goodluck Jonathan, further fueling discussions about Jonathan’s possible role in Nigeria’s political landscape ahead of the next presidential election.
The certificate was presented during a convention organised by the Kabiru Turaki-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja.
The event, held in the Area 10 district of Garki, attracted party leaders, delegates, former ministers, state officials, and supporters from different parts of the country.
Jonathan was not physically present at the gathering, but Gana stepped forward to receive the certificate on his behalf, a move that immediately drew attention from political observers and party faithful.
