Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembele has declared that the French champions are still hungry for more success as they prepare to face Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday.
Despite already lifting the prestigious trophy last season, Dembele insists PSG are not satisfied and remain determined to continue building a winning legacy in Europe.
Speaking ahead of the showdown at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, the French international said the squad is fully focused on adding another Champions League title to its growing collection.
According to him, PSG’s youthful squad, coaching staff and players are united by a strong desire to keep winning major trophies.
“We’re hungry to win every trophy available,” Dembele said, stressing that great players must consistently compete and succeed at the highest level.
The former Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund star noted that winning one Champions League title is not enough for a club with PSG’s ambitions.
He explained that the team wants to keep making history by dominating both domestic and European competitions.
Dembele also revealed that he was never seriously worried about missing the final despite suffering a calf injury earlier this month.
The attacker said he immediately stopped playing when he felt discomfort and used the recovery period to regain full fitness ahead of the crucial encounter.
The 2025 Ballon d’Or winner further reflected on his growing influence since joining PSG, saying he now carries more responsibility within the team.
However, he insisted that personal accolades are not his main focus, emphasizing that helping PSG win trophies remains his biggest motivation.
While many football fans continue to discuss individual awards, Dembele said his attention is fixed solely on delivering success for the club.
PSG will be looking to successfully defend their European crown, while Arsenal hope to claim the Champions League title for the first time in their history.
