The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed candidates with outstanding admission offers from the 2020 to 2025 admission cycles to accept or reject them before August 31, 2026.
The Board warned that candidates who fail to take action before the deadline could risk forfeiting their pending admission offers.
JAMB advised affected candidates to log into their profiles and check their admission status through the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Candidates who wish to proceed with an admission offer are expected to accept it on the platform, while those who do not want the offer can reject it through the appropriate option.
CAPS is JAMB’s platform for managing admission offers, allowing candidates to view their admission status and respond to offers made by tertiary institutions.
The warning particularly affects candidates from the 2020–2025 admission cycles who may still have unresolved admission offers on their profiles.
JAMB urged candidates not to wait until the final day, advising them to check their profiles and complete the required action as soon as possible.
“Candidates with pending admission offers from the 2020–2025 admission cycles are advised to accept or reject them before August 31, 2026, to avoid possible forfeiture,” the Board said.
Candidates who fail to respond within the stipulated period may lose the opportunity attached to their outstanding admission offers.
